So much has been going on here at our office; and once again, thanks to your great support, we have been able to launch two amazing new features for professional surveys.
Those of you who have been with us from day one, remember that the classic SurveyLegend had a great feature which made us the most user-friendly image-based survey tool on the market. That was where everything started, and from there, the current SurveyLegend was born. SurveyLegend was designed by creative individuals, for creative individuals!
As we developed our survey tool, we figured out that we needed to remake everything from scratch. We needed to base our infrastructure on more powerful and up-to-date technology, to offer more professional survey features to our beloved users. So when we remade our app, we had to temporarily take away the classic functionality of “asking visual questions”.
But now, the very popular feature is back again; and much better than before.

New Survey Features
Media Gallery
Our brand new interactive “Media Gallery” gives survey creators the opportunity to create questions that incorporate visual responses. You simply get a totally new way of asking your questions. With the possibility to attractively present answers using images, survey creators can improve the usability of their online surveys, and also receive more nuanced responses from participants.
This, not only makes your online surveys more attractive than ever, but also empowers you to get feedback for things that you never could before. Instead of making your respondents read the answers, you can now simply show them what you mean, by uploading images for answer choices.

Upload custom background
Many professional survey creators want to to add some flair, or their brand’s look and feel to their online surveys? Adding a background image is one of the most efficient ways to get potential respondents’ interest from the very beginning of opening your survey.
We have been providing beautiful backgrounds, to choose from. But now with this new update, you can simply upload your own image to personalize your survey background! Just follow our guidelines, explained here, and our powerful system will take care of optimizing your uploaded background for different screen resolutions and sizes.

And finally for survey pros and well-established brands, we have launched 3 paid plans which offer more customization power and several professional features. However, we will always offer our free subscription level for interested users as well.

Bug fixes
- We have also re-engineered the Upload Module for a more stable and accurate image uploading process
- Very small bug fixes
- Since there haven’t been any bug reports and we haven’t found any bugs either, we have removed the beta sign from our app. Therefore, we are now proud to announce our first stable version of SurveyLegend. ;)
UI / UX updates
- Small changes in the layout of the app
- Upgraded our Bootstrap framework to the latest version
Security updates
- Our WordPress platform as well as 3rd party plugins are updated to their latest versions.
